ABOUT
Traditional Construction's humble roots began over 30 years ago with Lon McDurmon III working as a field superintendent for large scale projects in Memphis. Eventually Lon founded Traditional Construction Company in 1984 with local businessman John Wimpee. Within the first two years Traditional Construction had successfully completed new corporate headquarters for Dobbs Brothers and Anderson Tully Lumber Company. In 1989, Wimpee retired and divested his interest in the company leaving Lon as sole shareholder. Teresa McDurmon has served in an integral role as the Treasurer of Traditional Construction Co., Inc. since its inception.
Traditional has continued to grow with both of Lon's sons, LJ and Ryan, coming aboard to further growth, development, new relationships, and build upon the bedrock principles which Lon founded Traditional Construction upon.
